Tubecaster discontinued

Unfortunately I no longer have the time to maintain Tubecaster. As of June 2010 it will be no longer be updated. Fortunately there are many far better alternatives out there which are being actively maintained, so never fear! Thank you very much to everyone who has supported the project over the years, I really appreciate it. -Wayne

I'm pleased to report that the latest version of Tubecaster has just been released. New in this version are support for Windows Vista Home, and also Albanian language support. Many thanks to Blerim Cena for the Albanian translation.

I've discovered that there are problems with using Tubecaster on Windows Vista Home, which will be fixed in the new version coming this week.

Tubecaster is currently available in English and Afrikaans but I would love to be able to include more languages. If you are fluent in English and another language and would like to help then please let me know, my details are on the Contact page. Translation is easy and doesn't require any specialist computer knowledge. For your trouble you will get a mention in the About box of the program, a link to your website, and the warm feeling that comes with contributing to the Open Source world :)

YouTube logins not working

I've just discovered that logging into YouTube videos has stopped working. It seems that YouTube has changed their login mechanisms recently. Most videos should still work fine. I am currently working on a fix.
